Baking soda:

The ideal ratio of baking soda to be applied is 3:1, i.e. 3 parts of baking soda mixed with 1 part of water or a cup of baking soda can be combined with half a bucket of water. You can dip the affected part be it hands or feet for half an hour in the bucket for relief from swelling.
Cornstarch:
Cornstarch has the similar healing properties as the baking soda. 3 parts of the cornstarch can be mixed with water to form a paste. The cornstarch mixture can be applied to the affected region to get immediate relief from the itchiness and swelling.
Oatmeal:
Oatmeal is an antioxidant and contains anti-inflammatory properties, this also reduces the itchiness at the site. Oatmeal can be ground to form a powder. One can add 1 or two cups of water to half a bucket of warm bath water for an hour.
Oatmeal can be used along with honey to form a paste. The paste can be applied to the affected area for half an hour to reduce the itchiness and swelling.
Fresh Lemon Juice:
Fresh lemon juice is known to have anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, anaesthetic and anti-irritation properties. For hands swollen and itchy, one needs to apply the fresh lemon juice to the affected area, and the lemon juice should be left to dry.
After the lemon juice has dried, it can be used washed away using water. One can apply lemon juice at the site as many times as required till the relief from the itching is attained.
Aloe Vera:

Butter and Bee wax:
This includes 6 tablespoons of butter (unsalted), 2 tablespoons of beeswax. To the melted mixture of butter and beeswax, add 5 tablespoons of ground juniper berries and 3 tablespoons of powdered cloves. After cooling this mixture, it can be applied to the affected area to provide relief against the itching and irritation.
Essential oils:
Essential oils are also known for their soothing properties. Essential oils can help in providing relief to the swollen itchy hands. The essential oils can be applied directly to the site or they can be mixed in warm bath water. Following oils have been known to provide relief against the itching and swelling:
